Time restriction means eating the entire food intake for the day during a certain period of time such as 8 am to 2 pm. This results in an 18 hour fasted period after 2 pm until 8 am the next morning. The length of the fasting period can vary while being a gradual process for some people. Starting with a 12 hour fasted period can be very effective.
