The king of all lower body exercises must be executed correctly to gain the most benefits. There are many different styles of squat which can be used based on the individual client goals and body structure. The squat can activate a favorable hormonal environment due to the large amount of musculature involved in every rep.
The squat is a difficult exercise to monitor without a partner. We ask clients to video their squat sessions so that we can review and make suggestions for improvement. A common mistake is the failure to properly engage the posterior chain.
