L Pull UP Strip Set
L Pull Ups are a great way to improve vertical pulling strength. Putting the legs in the L position with a medicine ball squeezed between the knees provides a tremendous challenge for the core muscles in a functional manner.
Scott H. Mendelson uses three weighted balls to demonstrate a strip set which is an advanced technique for improving rates of progress. As you can see in the video the flickering of the legs indicates the difficulty involved with stabilizing the weight load.
The biceps and forearms earn tremendous stimulation throughout the set.
The objective of this set was to perform two perfect reps with each of these weighted balls.
