Chin Grip Lat Pull Down

Palms facing the trainee indicates a chip grip during a vertical pulling movement. Do not lean back during the movement. Keep at least 10 degrees of flexion in the elbows at the top of the movement to avoid stressing joints and tissues.

Aim to pull the elbows to the bottom of the rib cage for full range of motion. The bar should touch the chest and in many cases hold that position by contracting the back muscles pending the prescribed repletion speed.
