Band Squat

Learning to squat by initiating the hips backward can be very challenging. The Band Squat position as demonstrated in the video anchored to the stop of the squat rack provides support to prevent the trainee from falling backward.

 


Band Squat

Holding the band properly with an externally rotated position supports proper torso position during the squat. We often use the band squat in a high repetition fashion towards the end of a workout to increase fat burning hormone levels.
