Supinated Cable Triceps Extension

Target the long head of the triceps with a supinated grip. The supinated grip is the most neglected grip for a majority of trainees. As a result many trainees are considerably weaker with the supinated grip.

Unilateral execution meaning one arm at a time places less stress on the joints and enables to trainees to perfect the form. A greater range of motion is possible when training one limb at a time which allows the trainee to take the palm behind the hip for the most beneficial contraction.

Always train the weaker arm first for the best training effective. Bringing both limbs into balance will improve development, performance and reduce the likelihood of injury.

Advanced variations involve strategic pauses and extended negatives.
