I ran cross country and participated in track during high school and remained active throughout
college and afterwards. My resting heart rate decreased and I’m the leanest that I’ve been in nearly a decade while retaining muscle.

I found weightlifting during college and have been hooked ever since. I read a lot of material while I was lifting but would end up overwhelmed and struggle with program design.

Eating clean is not enough

From what I’d learned, I’d always tried to eat ‘clean’, however in the end, I did what many lifters do. I ate
huge amounts and pushed heavy weight with little consideration for conditioning or the amount
of food. I have made great progress during this 10 Week Body Transformation.

A couple years ago, I was at the heaviest and strongest I’d ever been but I couldn’t jog an easy
mile. I wanted to enter a powerlifting meet, but I was still overwhelmed by information and
struggled to figure out what I was doing. Over the next two years, I tried cutting weight only to
lose strength and then regain fat with the muscle.

Strategic Change Needed

Additionally, I was seeing other signs of physical problems likely due to eating patterns I’d followed for years. I knew something needed to change. After seeing one of Scott and Dr. Eric Serrano’s videos, I decided to try a program for 12 weeks. I started a 12 week personalized weight training, nutrition and fat burning interval plan about a week after the new year and have already seen terrific results.

Scott Mendelson made the program simple and easy to execute, which I really enjoyed after
being overwhelmed by information for so long. I recently signed up for another 12-week
program and can’t wait to see the progress it brings.
